As an Embedded Developer at Datek Next, you will engage in diverse development projects, ranging from software and electronics for submarines to satellite technology, and much more. Our development environment is composed of experts in hardware, embedded systems, and software development. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues to deliver optimal products and solutions.

You will either work on-site as part of our client’s team or from our secure facilities in Lillestrøm. The position requires that you can obtain security clearance in Norway and NATO. Read more about security clearance at www.nsm.no

‍Responsibilities and tasks:

• Work in close collaboration with our hardware designers and backend/frontend developers
• Contribute to all stages of the process, from architecture and design to implementation and final product delivery
• You will contribute across all stages of the product lifecycle: concept, design, development, testing, production, updates, and maintenance
• Embedded development on various processor platforms
• Customer support and follow-up related to development work
• Documentation and quality assurance of processes

Desired qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in software/embedded development
• Relevant college or university education (experience can compensate for education)
• A highly analytical mindset with the ability to grasp both the broader perspective and intricate details
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Proficiency in both written and spoken Norwegian and English is a prerequisite.
