At Datek Next we bring together expertise and extensive experience in delivering development services across programming, hardware and software design. Our primary focus is providing innovative solutions to the power, energy, defence and space industries.

We specialise indeveloping safety-critical solutions, leveraging diverse technologies and broadexpertise across a wide range of projects.

As a hardware developer, you’ll be involved in the full development cycle — from concept and design to prototyping, testing, and verification. You'll work with both analogue and digital circuit design, and contribute to building reliable, high-performance solutions.

You will either work on-site as part of our client’s team or from our secure facilities in Lillestrøm. The position requires that you can obtain security clearance in Norway and NATO. Read more about security clearance at www.nsm.no

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Development of electronics for customer-specific solutions
  • Participate in the architecture process, schematic design, and PCB layout
  • Participate in development team other at our own premises or at our client's sites
  • Documentation, testing, and customer follow-up
  • Prototyping and manual assembly of small prototype series in the lab
  • Design for manufacturing (DFM), planning of production tests (DFT), and follow-up of volume production.

Desired qualifications:

  • 6+ years relevant experience (master's degree is preferred, but experience can compensate)
  • Experience with analog, digital, power, RF, and PCB design is highly valued.
  • Familiar with CE certification, safety, EMC, and radio testing
  • Skilled in lab testing and electronic prototyping
  • Proficientin Altium or similar tools; understanding of DFM/DFT principles
    Proficiencyin both written and spoken Norwegian and English is a prerequisite
